Driven by the spirit of entrepreneurship, Christian decided to take the leap and start his own business in 2003 with two other partners. While working as a reseller of monitoring boxes, Christian was offered an opportunity to provide a customer with a network TAP. “At that time, there were not many options available in the market, and I realized the potential to fill the gap in the market. I started the business with two other partners (also the co-founders) in a garage, and today we have a global presence with offices in different geographic locations to serve customers in all time zones.”
Cubro has shown a remarkable growth year after year since it was founded in 2003. The reason for the continuous success is the business advantage to our customers which we offer by developing innovative solutions that address contemporary IT operational challenges. And it wouldn’t have been possible without the visionary leadership of Christian Ferenz, CEO of Cubro.
A dreamer, who is always thinking beyond the ‘now’, Christian drives innovation with his deep knowledge and understanding of the technology. Looking back at the company’s milestones, there has not been a single year when Cubro did not launch new products/solutions to enhance the customer experience. Christian is always ahead in communicating his unique vision and ideas which are progressive and inspire change.
One of the reasons for Cubro’s success is the stability in the leadership. It is remarkable how the co-founders of the company are still actively working and are committed to the success of the company. It is a cliche, but still worth mentioning, that people do business with people who they like, know and trust. And Christian takes pride in the company’s solid leadership, which is absolutely critical for a sustainable business.
Navigating smoothly in today’s fast paced environment requires a leader who is able to move ahead of the competition and adapt to changes. Christian’s strength lies in being a change agent and inspiring the staff to work collaboratively to reach new goals. Besides bringing his knowledge and expertise to the company, he believes in creating a work culture like a family.
Christian’s passion for his work is evident when he shares his ideas, willingly talks to customers and believes in a long-term relationship based on trust with internal and external stakeholders. In his own words, “When people ask me what I do in my spare time, I tell them I do not have any hobbies because I love spending my time doing what I do”.
Despite the challenges everyone is facing since last year, Cubro decided to expand its team by hiring new staff. Cubro is determined to keep pace with the rapidly changing technology and stay ahead by embracing innovation.
