Parent Company: Cubro Acronet GesmbH is a subsidiary of Addtech AB (publ), a Swedish publicly traded tech group. Personal data may be shared within the Addtech Group strictly for governance, statutory reporting, and administrative purposes in accordance with EU data protection standards.
General Scope & Applicable Law
At Cubro, we recognize the importance of protecting your personal information and are committed to processing it responsibly and in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – Regulation EU 2016/679) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (Datenschutzgesetz – DSG). This policy applies to personal data we collect about website visitors, business contacts, event participants, online webinar attendees, and job applicants.
Web Server Logs & Automatic Data Storage
When you access our website, our web server automatically records connection data for security, load balancing, and diagnostic purposes. This includes:
- URL of the visited page & referring URL
- Browser type, version, and operating system
- Host name and IP address of the accessing device
- Date and time of server request
Web server log files are retained for a maximum of 14 days and then automatically deleted, unless an IP address must be temporarily retained to investigate security incidents or unlawful behavior (Legal Basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – Legitimate Interest).
Business Contacts & B2B Communications
As a B2B network visibility vendor, we process contact details of representatives from prospective and current business partners in our CRM system.
Purposes: Fulfilling contractual obligations, managing B2B sales pipelines, providing customer support, and administering business development.
Legal Basis: Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or Legitimate Interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: For the duration of the commercial relationship plus statutory Austrian retention periods (up to 7 years for financial and commercial records under § 212 UGB / § 132 BAO).
Content Downloads, Event Registrations & Lead Generation
When you register for webinars, download whitepapers/datasheets, request product trials, or submit inquiry forms:
- We collect your name, corporate email address, phone number, company name, job title, and country location.
- Legal Basis: Legitimate business interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) to process your request and evaluate B2B commercial interest.
- Austrian Telecommunications Act Compliance (§ 174 TKG): Electronic direct marketing (such as promotional emails or newsletters) is sent strictly based on prior explicit opt-in consent or existing client relationship exceptions under Austrian law.
- Retention: Personal data collected during event/asset registrations is retained for up to 2 years following the interaction unless ongoing commercial negotiations or consent justify longer storage.
Direct Marketing & Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter or receive updates based on an established B2B relationship:
- You can object to direct marketing or unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in any email footer or contacting privacy@cubro.com.
- Outreach to potential business contacts sourced publicly is conducted strictly in accordance with applicable direct outreach laws and GDPR principles.
Job Applications
Applicant data submitted via our website or recruitment channels is used solely to evaluate suitability for open positions, conduct interviews, and execute pre-contractual steps (Legal Basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Data is deleted within 6 months of application completion unless explicit consent is granted to keep the profile in our talent pipeline.
International Data Transfers & Global Sales Operations
Cubro operates globally with sales presence, distribution partners, and cloud service providers located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in North America and APAC as well as across our parent entity Addtech AB’s network.
Where personal data is transferred to non-EEA countries without a European Commission adequacy decision, Cubro safeguards your privacy by executing Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the EU Commission pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell personal data. We share personal data only with trusted service providers (web hosting, CRM platforms, event platforms) acting as data processors under strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, or within the Addtech Group for internal administration.
Your Rights & Complaints
Under GDPR, you hold the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and withdrawal of consent.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data. If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, please contact us at privacy@cubro.com.
